Club AGM - March 17th

16 March 2016
Written by: CHRIS ULLMAN
REMINDER. Thursday 17 March 2016 is our AGM. 7.45 for 8pm. The club will be providing a free buffet. It is important that members attend the AGM for the following reasons : 1. There are 3 items on the agenda that need at least 20% of paid up members to be present for a vote to be taken,& for any changes to be approved a 60% majority. You can find full details here 2. Committee members are proposed & elected or re-elected. 3. Reports from Committee members are read out and also a report from the President & Chairman. 4.Presentations of awards is made. 5. New members need to get an insight of how the club is organised and run & also be able to find out about all the behind the scenes work carried out by our team of coaches particularly for the Juniors and for the Schools Cross country competitions. 6. A chance for new members to meet & get to know the committee members. 7. An opportunity for members to question the committee on any point regarding the club - competitions - etc. 8. A an opportunity to talk about running :-) Seriously we need a good turn out to show that involvement on any level within the club is important from competing to marshalling to helping. Your club - your opinion matters.
